Playing Ridge Racer really rams home just how far handheld gaming has come in such a short time. Unfortunately, I didn't have the instruction manual for Rapid Racer, and information on the internet was lacking, so I imagine I figured out the format of this powerboat checkpoint racer the long (and hard) way.
In the 'One Race' competition, as well as avoiding being timed out, it is necessary to finish first to unlock stuff and thus progress. On top of these requirements, five yellow powerups are to be collected in the course of a race for a boat upgrade. This is tricky - it's not so much the handling of the powerboats rather the reading, and riding of the waves which is difficult to predict. Welcome to my review about ridge racer (PSP), it is a very good game for racing and it has very easy controls. I am a big fan of racing games and this one is very good for playing. The popular ridge racer series hasn't yet lost its touch when it comes to the production for the PSP, the gameplay stays up after all these years and the game Makes you want to play it again so it is not very addictive but some people like it more than I do so they get more addictive than me!!!!.
It makes you to pay attention to the race and you get addicted to it when you have just started the race. It has a lot of detail that makes the game good, it is playable.
