None of the marks will affect the performance of the club. These clubs have never been used to hit a golf ball. Each driver comes with the matching headcover included. Includes a 1 year Manufacturers Warranty.
Advantages: Hits the ball a VERY long way. Keeps the ball straight. Disadvantages: Not a solitary thing.
the golf club manufacturing company TaylorMade; the TaylorMade R540.
I?ve owned this driver for just about a month now, purchasing it just before I went off on holiday to the South of France at the beginning of June, and I noticed a huge improvement in my driving from the very first time I hit a ball with it at my local driving range. On the golf course (where it really matters) my scores over the past month have been (on average) a massive 10 SHOTS better than my average for the rest of the year.
~ ~ So why is it that this driver from TaylorMade has effected such a dramatic transformation to my somewhat flagging golf game? Well, there really isn?t a single reason, but instead a combination of new and innovative design and manufacturing methods by TaylorMade to help give the golfer that slight ?edge?. In fact, so much of an edge does this ...
Advantages: Easy to hit, easy to keep straight Disadvantages: Not long hitters
I first started playing golf when I was 10 years old but was forced to take a 20+ break due a back problem only returning to regular play two years ago.
I decided to pretty much start from scratch and took my time choosing a set of irons best suited to my 'back to basics' plan.
I picked TaylorMadeburners because they have the largest legal club face and a very forgiving play action. I also picked steel shafts as once again they are easier to hit.
'TaylorMade' clubs are always well made and these are forged (not cast) with a hollow cut back giving a reasonable deep cut into the ball. The original Burners were a little light but the XD's have more wieght and a better feel in the swing.
I think these clubs are perfect for serious new golfer looking to improve his game from a handicap above 20 down to about 16 over a period ...
Advantages: Fantastic feel and a great roll Disadvantages: None
What makes any putter different from another? They are all used on the green to roll the ball into the hole aren't they? Well this range is a little different...
The TaylorMade Nubbins range of putters is very distinctive in looks. They have an orange rubber insert covering the clubface (where you hit the ball) that has little 'nubs' protruding from it (a bit like lego!!). The idea behind this is that when the putter strikes the golf ball, the ball is gripped by the nubs which are incredibly soft, stays on the putter face for longer than a normal putter and then makes the ball roll much quicker after impact. This action reduces any skidding that may normally occur and promotes a great feel and roll on the green thus producing a good putt.
Surprisingly the technology actually works!! These putters feel very soft and the roll ...
