I bought this wedge when i decided that my old one was just not good enough for me. I bought this club after being recommened by a great friend fo mine who plays of a handicap of 3! The club looks absolutely fantastic in matt black.
This club has been designed to give far greater spin and ball control thanks to Y-shaped grooves cut into the club face. These grooves promote far higher ball spin and therefore more control. The club is light with a large head which gives great forgiveness.
I have found that the club is very responsive and that you can feel when you do not hit the ball quite right. However because of the great forgiveness of this club it does not seem to make much if any difference to be striking of the ball. Because of this it is very easy for you to identify where you are going wrong and therefore far quicker ...

The TaylorMade Nubbins range of putters is very distinctive in looks. They have an orange rubber insert covering the clubface (where you hit the ball) that has little 'nubs' protruding from it (a bit like lego!!). The idea behind this is that when the putter strikes the golf ball, the ball is gripped by the nubs which are incredibly soft, stays on the putter face for longer than a normal putter and then makes the ball roll much quicker after impact. This action reduces any skidding that may normally occur and promotes a great feel and roll on the green thus producing a good putt.
