Advantages: Excellent performance, very comfortable Disadvantages: You're slightly paying for that quality
......they're called 'the players' Kenneth, you big eejit.
Having managed over my 36 years to construct a body so biased towards the right side as to make J Edgar Hoover proud, the gradual emergence of a large hole in my football boots strategically placed directly over my starboard big toe was something that needed addressing. Some might suggest that some warm milky tea and retirement were the appropriate course of action, but as fully paid-up member of the Rage Against The Dying Of The Light Brigade, I opted for the 'replacement' option. And so it came to pass that my not-that-dainty-Size-Tens were easing their way into a pair of Adidas Team Mundial Astro Turf G. Classics.
The selection had not been arbitrary. Online searches of football forums had revealed the odd supporter capable of coherent written English, and once they...

Advantages: Light, full protection, ankle support Disadvantages: Less mobility around the ankle area, due to the affor mentioned support
...with tape to keep the pad in place. This increases mobility but does leave the ankle slightly vulnerable; this is one thing you WILL NOT have to worry about with the Adidas Team Vuelo Shin pads.
I am sorry to say that i have now invested in a new pair of shin pads, i say this not to highlight the dislike in the Team Vuelo, but to clearly state that these pads are suitable for many purposes and positions, but from a personal perspective, the support and protection is secondary to mobility and quick movement.

Advantages: Jamaica is cool as . . Disadvantages: You have to be seen wearin Uhlsport
...Jamaica may not be world leaders in football but there are world leaders in fashion. The vibrant yellows and greens that have come out of Jamaica are now very popular especially with Puma who were the previous kit make for the Jamaica team.
However this kit does not match up to the fashionable items that we see so regularly up and down the high street. In bright green with black and yellow up the sides of the kit and on the arms, you would think that everyone would want to get their hands on one.
Theres another BIG problem too. As football as become a much more image driven sport teams are driven to find the most desirable kit make out there, Reebok, Nike, Adidas, but not Uhlsport. Not being funny but i would not be caught wearing anything made by this company i'm just that shallow. I can pretty much guarantee that i'm not the only...
