Admittedly, I am not an expert on speed, revs per minute (or whatever they are) or abs (I thought that was some sort of muscle in your stomach), but since taking ownership of my beloved Corsa, I have become a lot more interested in cars in general.
I started looking for a replacement for my annoying Ford Fiesta, after the gearbox seized up on the way to an important meeting. I did some research and asked around at work for any ideas for a small, nippy car. Two of my friends recommended the Corsa, while others recommended the Toyota Yaris and the Ford Ka.

First of all I would like to say that we deal with cars, so we are constantly swaping cars.
And now to the corsa.
CORSA.
For a 1.2 litre engine car, the performance is excellent. In 2nd and 3rd gear at 4000 rpm, the car flies along nicely!
The car has Irmscher modifications to the bodywork and blue tinted glass. The car also has a chrome Irmscher twin pipe exhaust. It's a real eye catcher.
The interior is very good, far better quality than the Peugeot 106 Quiksilver.
The seats are very comfortable and the driving position is excellent.
The basic SXI package is brilliant, CD, remote locks, power steering, steering wheel mounted stereo controls, leather steering wheel, electic heated door mirrors.
I was surprised how much room there was in the back.
I thought it would be poor on the motorways. I was wrong ...

I've owned my Corsa SXi for two and a half years now. It has provided me with everything the average buyer could home for in a car of this class. The SXi model was originally due to be a limited special edition. So, I bought one in it's first generation, before Vauxhall decided to alter a few small things (actually, they just altered the badge) and bring it back due to it's popularity.
The SXi is essentiall a step down from the Sport model. The SXi has a much more friendly relationship with the insurance companies, thanks to its 1.2 litre, 16 valve engine. When I bought the car, Vauxhall were giving away 2 years free insurance. As I was just 19 when I bought it (or rather, when my Dad bought it for me), this was great, as insurance costs would have been far to high otherwise.
