solid feel, very comfortable and looks good

Advantages: very consistent throughout
Disadvantages: consistent but lacks power and comfort compared to other rackets

...very big fan of the Head radical series, I have been using Head tennis rackets for around 10 years and my first Head radical was the Intelligence series, although quite heavy it feels well balanced throughout. This racket is similar. I have the oversize version with a headsize of 107sq.in. and weighs around 295grams strung, which i believe it is a nice weight. It is my personal choice. The main positives of this racket is that when i use it my baseline ...
...have used like the Babolat aeropro drive and Wilson K six.one (90). However, these rackets do cost nearly double the price of the Head racket. I believe this racket is suited for intermediate to advanced players who want a consistent feel and power throughout. ...

Head Metallix 4 = Pretty good!

Advantages: Great spin, good strokes all round, decent serves and volleys. Good all-round racket.
Disadvantages: 107sq inch headsize, possibly too big? Not too much control on volleys. but that is all!

...had it custom strung with Head Sonic Pro 17 gauge string at 60lbs. I didn't know much about the strings or the tension but enough to kinda know what I was doing after reading many reviews! At first I found the racket hard to get used to, shots spraying all over the shop and just pretty poor play! However, I think this was down to my ability at the time and the change between rackets. I decided to keep playing with it anyway, (I didnt have much choice ...
...recently purchased more of the Head Sonic pro strings and should be back on court with this great racket in no time! I bought it for around $99 which is probably around £80 perhaps? Now Iv'e seen it available from £50. A bargain I think. It might not be a perfect players racket or the perfect racket for me, i'm really not sure, but It was great for improving my game and was pretty impressed overall. I'm not sure what to do at the moment, whether ...

If size and power matter.

Head Ti S5 ---------------- I have recently been looking for a new tennis racket and have been trying out a few that are currently on the market. I have yet to decide on the one for me, but will review a few of the top contenders so far. I would just like to say that I am an intermediate club player, playing twice a week. This one is the Head Ti S5 racket. When you first set eyes on this beast, the size really hits you. You then pick it up, ...
...case. I have had Head rackets before and I like the quality and design of their selections. So what’s it like to play with? --------------------------------------- Well very easy – its lightness means its easy to swing and its large head size means it has a large “sweet spot” making ideal if you are going to hit the ball off centre, which, if you a beginner is always useful. You can generate plenty of power with this bat, even if you have a short ...

Choosing the perfect Racket

Advantages: Can really benefit your tennis
Disadvantages: Can set you back a few pounds

...I would choose rackets like Head liquid metal prestige, Wilson N61 tour or the Prince NX Tour Graphite MP. If your swing on the other hand is very short and slow, you should get a powerful racket as your swing is giving you your control you just need a bit of extra power. I would recommend, a Wilson Ncode1, Head liquid metal 8 or the yonex Vcon 30. And if your swing is average and your swing speed isn't fast or slow I would tell you to choose a ...
...For example the bigger the head on the racket the more power it will have, and the tighter the strings the more control the racket has. The final thing you need to know when purchasing a racket is that of the grip size. A way of telling this is hold the racket in your forehand grip and you should be able to squeeze a finger in which touches both the end of your fingers and your palm. Thanks for reading this review and I hope it helps when purchasing ...

...vibration absorbtion. One of the best Head Titanium racquets. The Ti.Heat Comfort Zone comes with a comfort zone to minimize the shock and vibration on every swing you take. One good point for this racquet is the top spin you can put on the ball, with its shape you can whip the ball round quickly. Also the slice is great too especially for serves. I have thrown my racquet around the courts a few times, lol, but it still works, (its durable) Again ...
