Advantages: see op
Disadvantages: see op
I know this op is meant to be about a tennis racket, but there wasn't a category for any of these things and there isn't a suggest a product button that lets you suggest a whole new sub-category (if that makes sense!). You do need other things to play tennis, so here goes.......
Tennis Balls
------------
Quite obvious really, but it's surprising how many times I've gone off to play tennis only to realise that I have forgotten to bring any tennis ... ...sports shop, but when you get there you are faced with some choices.

Some cheap balls are too hard and bounce too high and fast, others are too soft and bounce too low. If you can find a brand of cheap tennis ball that you are happy with then it's probably the best bet, especially if you're the ...

Wilson Hammer 6
Review of Wilson Hammer 6 by
wpsilon
Advantages: long grip, more power
Disadvantages: big headsize (disadvantage only for pros)
I have bought 5 of these rackets about 4 years ago, and since then I play every day with them. As I started playing with them they were represented by the Serena Brand, Serena Williams used to play with them, now if you are pro I won't recoamand you to buy it, cause as a pro you need about 3-4 identic rackets, and since this model isn't fabricated anymore you meight have problems finding more of them on the market. Mainly it has been designed more ... ...backhand with two hands, so that bouth hands fit on the grip, weights 260 gramms without strings and overgrip, so it's a quite light racket, the weight is situated in the head, which provides you more strenght, as specially when serving. I don't know what happened when I bought them, but I guess that I'm the only one whoose Hammer 6 headsize is 613cm, the model that I am reviewing right now it's headsize is 665cm, but the rest of the caracteristics ...

oh - btw. Production of this racket stalled for several years increasing demand, but due to strong (cult) following, Wilson started production again. Almost impossible to find this one cheap, despite being almost a 15 year old design. ...

Classic racket
Review of Wilson Hyper ProStaff 5.0 by
MByford
Advantages: Control
Disadvantages: None apparent
...a similar design to the Wilson Pro Staff. This racket however was very playable and I was able to get control with realtilve power. I did not find it as stiff as the previous Wilson rackets but I must say that it is the best Wilson racket that is available to buy today. Players such as Magnus Norman are current users of this racket and I could easily use this racket myself. ...

A highly recommended racket
Review of Wilson Hyper Hammer 6.3 by
jenbud
Advantages: A good all round racket, recommended for those with weaker wrists
Disadvantages: A very light racket so shots can sometimes be miss hit
...produced good power with the Wilson Hammer and we found this especially useful on the backhand slice. When hitting a backhand slice, we found plenty of spin and grip on the ball from the stringbed, and direction and depth were easy to gauge. We were also able to generate some good topspin with the Hammer, which we found especially useful when hitting angles or lobs. If the racket has any drawbacks off the ground, it is the inherent lightness built ... ...a classic stroke style, the Wilson Hyper Hammer is a versatile racquet that should garner similar popularity as previous Hammer models. Control oriented players should definitely give this racket a try, as when swung at a medium pace, the racquet offers a good level of comfort and feel. Stronger players may want to beef up the weight of the racket and at only 9.8 ounces, there is plenty of room for customization. ...
