Advantages: Powerful, Comfortable grip, nice weight ratio, good head size, nice looking Disadvantages: Part of the shaft has a square shaft which I occasionally rest my hand on and can hurt...Thats it!
...I changed to my first Wilson racket, and since then I have never changed...
.
The [K]Blade is the last racket that I changed to; I bought it as soon as it came out and loved the way it plays, the frame is relatively stiff, and the 98 produces quite alot of power, I have never been a user of the really heavy rackets because I like to get alot of racket head speed behind the ball so with a lighter racket I find it easier...Still with a 304g weight ... ...rackets they are all made in the same way it just each company has their own selling point which makes the racket feel a little bit different - It is just personal opinion, All I know is that I will always choose Wilson as the brand to buy rackets from. ...
Advantages: Good control racket Disadvantages: Heavy racket
...heavy racket, then you will definately get more power and control from your game. Would suit all advanced players or extreme hard hitters. Wilson are always my racket of choice from the first time I pickd up the original pro staff tour (Sampras's racket of choice) ...
Advantages: long grip, more power Disadvantages: big headsize (disadvantage only for pros)
I have bought 5 of these rackets about 4 years ago, and since then I play every day with them. As I started playing with them they were represented by the Serena Brand, Serena Williams used to play with them, now if you are pro I won't recoamand you to buy it, cause as a pro you need about 3-4 identic rackets, and since this model isn't fabricated anymore you meight have problems finding more of them on the market. Mainly it has been designed more ... ...backhand with two hands, so that bouth hands fit on the grip, weights 260 gramms without strings and overgrip, so it's a quite light racket, the weight is situated in the head, which provides you more strenght, as specially when serving. ...advanced, you want absolute control over what you're doing.
oh - btw. Production of this racket stalled for several years increasing demand, but due to strong (cult) following, Wilson started production again. Almost impossible to find this one cheap, despite being almost a 15 year old design. ...
Advantages: The power, a bit of spin Disadvantages: Hardly any control, not value for money
For my first racket I dicided to splash out on a what I thought was a really good racket. But at this stage I didn't know that if it was expensive it doesn't necessarily means that it is good. When I first began to get my eye in and start to hitthe ball to went like a rocket this was good that the power was there but bad that it was going in the cort. When i began to have lessons I was taught how to put top spin on the ball but the racket that I ... ...little spin on the ball. To compensate for this i had to slow down my shots meaning that the power wasn't an issue any more. In the end i decided that enough was enough and i had to go out and buy a new racket. This racket does't come with a garentee. If you are buying a new racket I strongle advise that you buy it from JJB so that you get a garentee and they let you have a 1 hour hit with it first. don't buy this sledge hammer ...
