Who says TescoValue food isn't up to scratch? Well on the contrary my dear Watson...here's a small dessert that is second to none - their individual strawberry cheesecake.
Found in the yoghurts section of your local Tesco, these 100 gram pots cost around the 40p mark. They may not look the most appealing of desserts - in a clear plastic pot with a foil lid with the words TescoValue inscribed on it. Hardly a great advertisment, but fear not, once you try them then you'll keep going back for more.
The strawberry topping is absolutely delicious - sweet, thick and tastes like genuine strawberries rather than some artifical nonsense. Advantages: very cheap, ok if you are on a serious budget Disadvantages: goes mouldy quickly, not very tasty
Bread. One of the nations staple foods, and certainly one of my favourites. There is so much you can do with bread, from bread and butter pudding, to sandwiches and toast, to dippy soldiers and croutons.
Most people eat bread most days of the week and if it is made the right way with the right kind of flour it can be very healthy for you.
Bread these days somes in all manner of shapes and sizes, flavours and colours and will a whole range of toppings and additions such as sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, nuts, fruit... the list goes on.
.... not TescoValue bread!
The Cost
