Texan Classics 'The Power' iron set

Advantages: the world and its mechanics, the perspective, the characters
Disadvantages: ending a bit weaker

...a supremely convincing vision of a culture both savage and sophisticated, a vision pulsating with raw emotion thanks to the point of view from which we experience it. The characters are well drawn and multi-dimensional. The only thing that lets the "The Iron Dragon's Daughter" down is its ending - a little bit to mystical, too vague and to psychoanalytical for my liking. Fantasy can be a terribly derivative genre, by definition rehashing the same story lines and settings all over again. "The Iron Dragon's Daughter" goes far beyond that. Its powerful emotion and the bildungsroman aspect would make it particularly attractive to young adults/old teenagers, although I enjoyed it immensely despite being closer to 40 than 20. Advantages: Easy navigation, clear large screen, huge capacity, great looking, excellent value for money

...California is where the idea of iPod originated, but I'm not entirely sure). In calendars, there's a to-do list and shows you if you're alarm is set. Contacts need to be synced from your computer (easily done), you can set an alarm or a sleep timer using the alarm function where you can wake up to your favourite song instead of that horrible beeping noise most alarm clocks use. iPod comes with three games that you'll find on the classic - vortex, klondike and iPod Quiz. I've downloaded a couple off the iTunes site (£3.99 per game) but the game iPod Quiz that comes with it is really good - it uses your own music files and asks you questions about them. .... Music videos are impressive and show up crystal clear on the large iPod screen, although they are expensive if you buy them from iTunes. Personally I buy nothing from iTunes. You can also browse through up to 20 000 photos on your iPod which look just as sharp as the videos. There is an option for pod casts but it's not something that appeals to me. There are plenty of extras that include a clock, calendar, contacts, alarm, games, notes, screen lock, stopwatch. The calendar allows you to make a to-do list and shows you if you're alarm is on. The alarm can be synchronised with your favourite song. Three games are supplied with the - vortex, klondike and iPod Quiz. You can download more from iTunes at around £4 a game.
