One of my favourite films! The Thirty Nine Steps is a classic everyday-hero-vs-spy race against time, set in the period of 1914 just before the outbreak of WW1. This is my favourite version on the film, which is based on a novel by John Buchan, and stars Robert Powell as the enigmatic Richard Hannay, the everyday hero.
The Plot.
Richard Hannay is a mining engineer who is spending a few weeks in his native Britain before returning to South Africa. One day he is called upon unexpectedly by one of his neighbours, one Colonel Scudder, who has been compiling information about a group of spys who are intending to coordinate an assasination on British soil. Unfortunately Scudder is assasinated himself and responsibility for the information he has compiled passes to Hannay. The police believe that Hannay is involved in Scudders' death ...

Gameplay :
The gameplay of Two Worlds is a real-time action in a fully three dimensional landscape. Whack the enemy, pick up objects, etc happen in real time, so players may beaten up by the enemies while thinking what armor should I equip and such :-)
Similar to Oblivion and Gothic 3, the gameplay is non-linear. The player is free to explore the game world, accepting side quests at will. However, there is a core quest (main quest) centering around rescuing the hero's sister, who is being held for ransom by mysterious forces who are scheming to open the tomb of Aziraal, the god of the orcs.

Yes, I’ve been to boot hell and back too but, finally, all that has changed. I’ve joined the smug minority who lace up their boots in the morning and never give them a second thought during a day on the mountain. And it’s all thanks to ThirtyTwo’s Griffons.
I spent nearly three months in Whistler early this year and the Griffon seemed to be the boot footwear of choice there. Lots of the instructors and pros (both male and female) had them - usually a pretty good sign of a quality product.
Griffons are a bit garish to look at - last season’s were blue, yellow and orange. But they’re tall, pretty stiff and very supportive.
