Advantages: reasonable prices, soft and durable Disadvantages: not long life lasting
...as titleist (PTS) and i don't personally see much difference in Callaway golf galls either.
The ball has some 408 dimples which is made to make the ball go higher and longer and off the driver supposed to give less spin and more distance.
The only downside i find is that there are better balls out there, I do prefer Titleist PTS but they are more expensive, but saying that Titleist do last longer, I find after 1 round Noodles are quite scruffed and ready for the practice tube, where as a more expensive ball like titleist has more life.
If you want a cheapish reliable ball i do feel Maxfli Noodle is the ball for you especially if you like soft balls with more spin. Really though if you are a low handicap player you do need a better quality ball, I play off 22 so i try lots of balls, I do have friends that play off single figures and they swear...

Advantages: Very long hitting club.Powerful penetrating ball flight.983E Disadvantages: 983E not as forgiving as 983K
...My handicap is 7 and I play on a seaside course in Devon England, I say this to give you a baseline for comparison reasons.
As soon as I saw the 983 Series I knew I had to have one. These are such good looking clubs.
Tried 983K and 983 E eventually settled on 983E with 9.5 loft Grafalloy stiff shaft.
983E
First time on course I was absolutely stunned by this club. Amazing ball flight and markedly longer than my previous driver a Titleist 975J. Perhaps by an average of 15 yards.
The ball flight is a low rainbow shape. The club sets up to the ball very easily but does require a high tee peg. I find that setting the ball up further forward i.e almost off your toe increases length and promotes accuracy.
I was sceptical of the Graffalloy shaft as I am not a fan of light shafts. This doubt was eventually proven correct, (I gave it 7...

Advantages: great feel and distance Disadvantages: cost
...I have been playing golf for 15 years and always play with a Titleist ball. It's something of a habit, but the ball suits my game. In cold wet conditions I'll play with the pts wound ball, and in dry summer conditions the professional balata. That was until I tried the newest product from Titleist, the pro V1.
It is the tour professionals choice of ball combining both distance and feel.It is longer off the tee than the balata ball but gets enormous spin around the green.
I'm not sure how Titleist have done it, but I was amazed at the extra length I got off the tee and the control and spin I got around the green. Putting with it is a dream, the ball doesn't fly off the putter like the wound ball.
At the moment the cost of the ball will put off all but the most accomplished golfer, at £35 a dozen you don't really want to 'lose' a ball...
