Ok, i'm not going to bore you with the science of golf irons, if a reveiwer started going on about the science you would be so confused that you wouldn't know which iron to get.
ping irons are one of the best irons any golfer can buy, not only do ping custom fot you out that also provide you with the iron which is best for you.
Go into any golf shop and you can buy a number of makes straight off the shelf, but what if you are 6 foot 5, or 5 foot 6? all the irons on the shelf are the same size and have the same degree of lie on the floor. Ping irons have 10 different degree of lie ranging from: gold to maroon 'dot', the dot on the golf club is spasific to how you hold the club, and how you place it on the floor. lets go back to the shelf iron. If you are 6 foot 5 say the iron may not lay on the floor flush and the toe end ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Ping I5 Irons
Advantages: Look great and ball feels great of the clubface Disadvantages: Price is quite high
I purchased a set of these irons last March after having my old set for about 10 years.
Tried out 4 or 5 other top brand makes, but these felt the most comfortable and gave the best feel. It is easy to shape the ball with these clubs and they give a very nice flight to the ball.
I would say these clubs are also good for high handicap golfers, but would probably recommend the Srixon I-402 for them. The I-302's are very durable.
I have the regular shaft. I found the stiff shaft to be very stiff and as such was very easy to push the ball right.
They are fairly expensive, but for a mid to low handicap golfer like myself looking to get into single figures, these are well worth the price.
Very easy to get used to and I felt after a few weeks that I had the clubs for years.
My handicap was 15 when I bought these clubs and I am not playing ...
Advantages: Well executed, moving, varied, atmospheric Disadvantages: Arguably stays a little too close to its influences
stray a little further from their influences.
