Yes the pro v 1 is a very good ball and worth recomendation but there is a range of titleist balls on the market that for a fraction of the price perform just as well. last year i used the pro v 1 all season and had some very nice results but i have decided to use the cheaper NXT balls from titleist, alredy the balls are performing just like the pro v1's. i play alot of golf now and have decided to keep using the NXT balls to save the extra cash. So i would recomend you check the other titleist balls on the market before buying the pro v 1s , but dont put the pro v1 balls down they are very very good and if you do have the extra bit of money to spend on some balls then the pro v 1 is probabilly the better option.
heres a little more info for people wanting to know more about the titleist balls for 2005
The pro V1X - a good ball but shud be considered by the lower handicappers. priced at £40 a dozen
The pro V1 - the ball that most tour players are using and putting the price aside a very good ball for most players. pirced at £40 a dozen.
The NXT tour ball - this ball is a decent price and respods well i feel it is good around the greens and if your short game is top notch these are a good choice. priced at £25 a dozen
The NXT ball - i am currently using this ball and i feel it is best off the tee my drives are arround 2-5 years longer just because of the ball and i feel the ball respods well on the greens too. priced at £20 a dozen very good if your a decent club player and you want to save some cash.Titleist DT SoLo - this ball I use alot on the practice greens a decent cheap all round ball most people wont find big faults with. priced at £16 a dozen.
All of the titleist ball range can be found at your local pro shop usually located at your local course and are you shud find the best deals there.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Well, I can see that you've added prices and things. However, I've still only rated it as helpful. I feel that you could give more of an opinion on why the ball is good. Why that ball over a ball that costs £1 from a random little shop by the beach? What is special about the ball? etc.... Again, if you edit the review, leave a comment in my guestbook and I'll re-read and rate it! A good start though, definitely! If you want any advice feel free to leave a message in my guestbook, and feel free to take a look at my reviews! Alastair :o)

Hi, you didn't say how much they cost or where you can buy them from, if you add more info you'll get higher ratings! If you do add some more leave me a message in my gb and i'll be happy to re-rate it. Fiona x
