This golf club is designed for golfers who hit the ball to high, because they impart too much backspin onto a golf ball. The 905s has a deep face to reduce spin rates therefore hitting the ball on a lower ball flight, increasing distance. The head is also slightly smaller so is much easier on the eye than some of these brand irons we see today. I use a 905s fitted with a grafalloy blue stiff shaft and it is now my favourite club in the ball. I just stand on the tee knowing that my ball will find the fairway. The ball goes a long way off the tee too, because of the lowered ball flight my golf ball is leaving the face at the optimum launch angle (45 degrees) and the because of the low spin rate hits the floor and gains another 20-30 yards in roll! The best driver I have ever owned!
