When it comes to golf normally the more you spend the more you get back and in terms of your short game this is definitely true. When looking for a wedge look for your desired loft, feel i.e. soft hard and make. I know saying might make some people say your just paying for the name. But in terms of golf names are made for outstanding products and the Volkey Wedge is certainly one.

When Bob Volkey was asked by Titleist to create a new style of wedges Bob Volkey thought professional control for everyone. The heat-treated oxide treatment is a thin surface on the club, which enables spin for all golfers. Now I for one know that there is nothing better in golfer in hitting a high wedge an watching it draw back as if on a piece of string. And that is what this club provides.

All of his 200 series are steel shafted and that's the only given requirement. You can adjust the face of the club, its lie, the swing style, different course conditions, and your appearance preference. All of this of course is designed to meet PGA standards and that it does. And not only does it reach PGA standards but it reaches the PGA professional golfers standards as it is used by many tour pro's.

Volkey created the 200 series with the advice of what top golfers wanted. He listened carefully and definitely gave them what they wanted

This club is for you if: you want better control around the greens; require accurate approaches, want high quality spin control; want to hole chips; want to play like a pro.

So my advice to you is that you are allowed 14 clubs in your bag and make at least 1/14th of those the Bob Volkey Oil Can Wedge. I can assure you that the design of this wedge is similar to the infamous Callaway wedge selection if not better.
