Advantages: Looks goos, Feels great and spins loads Disadvantages: None
...Th TitleistVokey Spin Milled is one of the best wedges on the market. The original design by Bob Vokey has not been changed much for years.
The wedge comes in a full range of lofts from 64" - 48" with all types of bounce on it. The wedge is cut using a CAD maching and has about 30% more groove area than conventional wedges so there is more space for the ball to deform in to. The edges of the grooves are more defined and 'sharper' so the friction produced is greater therefore putting more spin on the ball.
I personally have a 58" and I love it. It is an oil can which i think looks better although it has been proven that rust has no noticable affect on the spin rate of the ball. With the oil can it must be cleaned well after use as the dirt and moitsure will make it rust loads. It spins so much as long as the grooves are clean...

Advantages: Classic shape and unmatched control Disadvantages: Reflection in the sun
...Although Titleist have since released a number of wedges to add to their series, the original Vokey Chrome is still a formidable golf club. A must buy for any serious golfer who appreciates quality and control, I believe the looks are unmatched by any other Titleist Wedge and many others from top brands. If you are looking for spin control this club is perfect. It offers fantastic consistency and a high spin rate, combined with good feel. All lofts are useful and if added to your bag can drastically improve your short game. I use 4 of these wedges (48, 52, 56 and 60 degree) and would not be playing off 7 without them. They add an extra dimension to your game and I believe are unmatched by any other brand. Since this Wedge series has been out for a few years, the price is relatively cheap and presents excellent value for money. For those...

Advantages: Feel, Price, Looks, Durability. Everything top notch! Disadvantages: N/a
...The raw version of this wedge is designed to rust and wear over time, the more you use it the better it gets effectively. What an excuse to get out and play that is. From 100 yards and in this club does exactly what its supposed to do.
Dependant on personal preferance, titleist have a range of loft and bounce options available for this range of wedges. They also have different styles of the vokeys available, they have oil can, raw and steel. The difference been, the steel is a standard club, the raw is designed to rust and the oil can is treated with oil to aid the performance, personally I recommend an investment of all three, just for the variety of the options, through pw, sw and lw and also for consistency of the vokey, the unique feel and responsiveness is consistent through its wedge range. It can also be tailored to players...
