Th TitleistVokeySpinMilled is one of the best wedges on the market. The original design by Bob Vokey has not been changed much for years.
The wedge comes in a full range of lofts from 64" - 48" with all types of bounce on it. The wedge is cut using a CAD maching and has about 30% more groove area than conventional wedges so there is more space for the ball to deform in to. The edges of the grooves are more defined and 'sharper' so the friction produced is greater therefore putting more spin on the ball.
I personally have a 58" and I love it. It is an oil can which i think looks better although it has been proven that rust has no noticable affect on the spin rate of the ball. With the oil can it must be cleaned well after use as the dirt and moitsure will make it rust loads. It spins so much as long as the grooves are clean ...
