Rubber gloves are not on my list of favourite things to buy, I rarely wear them for anything else other cleaning drains or unblocking sink traps. But saying that I always keep a pair in my cupboard for dealing with those unforeseen emergencies. Getting the right type of rubber gloves can be tricky, some are so flimsy that they tear on their first outing, others can be so thick that you cannot feel your fingers and if you manage to buy the right size first time around then you are a far better woman than I am. The cheap rubber gloves are very hit and miss, they invariably have no lining and will end up damaging the skin on your hands. Tribute to a Golf

Advantages: Great car, good fuel economy, well built - and extremely safe
Disadvantages: No real huge disadvantages

a parking light which I never used, but could see why it might be handy. The interior is nicely finished and certainly not as plasticky as the new models tend to be. There's a light in the glove box which makes it easier to find things in amongst the collection of sunglasses I keep in there, and several interior lights throughout the car making it easy to illuminate the interior should you need to. My car didn't come with a stereo as standard so I fitted one to it, however I can add that the standard stereo fitted to the hubby's Golf is more than adequate. The front seats are both height adjustable, which being a shorty is a great bonus for me as I quite like to see over the top of the bonnet when I'm in a car.
