You've had those days in goal, where you've dived long, landed hard, got your fingers to the ball as it was flashing by and you think "YES...what a save!", unfortunately your fingers didn't quite hold up and it snuck into the corner....
Well no more, when I found these gloves this season, I was immediately taken by them, the shop didn't have my size, didn't know when they would get some more, so I took one size smaller and they've worked out well.
The strengthened strips in the back of each finger serve several purposes :
1. They add strength to your fingers when making saves that require that "fingertip" touch
2. They stop your fingers being bent back and injured on all parts of your hand
3. They give some protection for stubbing your finger on the ball and from doing damage to your finger tips.
Punching is also much more fun, however I've found that the reinforced backings make punching a little more difficult as the backs tend to be rounded off rather than flat, so be careful on punches until you get used to it.
Grip is good, both in dry and wet weather, so far my gloves have not worn down enough for me to comment on how the grip acts after continual use.
Final words, in door footie these are also excellent, for when you need to go in close up and dive in at players feet giving good protection for kicks and being stepped on.
Over the past 4 years I would say these are the best gloves I have bought. I would recommend them for all levels of players of all ages.
Advantages: Good finger protection. Disadvantages: Expensive.
Just before i start this review, this is about Uhlsport gloves but in comparison with adidas.
I think (personal oppinion) that the keeper is the most important position, to preform like the best player on the pitch you need the best equipment but it is all so expensive, i just brought a pair for £30.00 and these were cheap. I had a very expensive pair of gloves before these were adidas fingersave gloves these gloves were very good but they wear ... ...though.
I just brought a pair of uhlsport support frame, these are expitional gloves which have a frame through the whole hand and in the fingers as well, this is good because no shot is to hard to save.
I think the best position is in goal and these gloves are great for diving finger saves because they support your fingers and make sure they do not bend back.
I wear a size 8 glove and this is about the average make sure you always try the gloves ...

Advantages: the secure finger guards Disadvantages: the is no secure guard for the thumb
the new addias finger savers are very useful in a game situation they are very pretected and padded on the finger area i thought this prouduct was very good for playing football,i felt very safe wearing them because my freind used normall keepergloves and broke 2 of his fingers so i was safe.one of the best things about the fingersaves are when you save the ball it dosent bend the fingers back and also the stout grip. the fingersaves are very comthy ... ...hand go cold as quick as the normal gloves would.anyone who enjoys being in goal should buy a pair because if you get a pair then you know your a keeper and your safe and secure, you can get them in 2 differrent colours green stripes going horizontal across the fingers and a big green adidas logo on it green and you can get the same desin in blue but with gel fingers the price is about £24.99 ...
