North Star = Bright Star Advantages: Build Quality and Ease of use Disadvantages: Ca be Expensive I purchased on of these last year on e-bay for £65.00 and I find it brilliant in every sense fantastic light and burn time super stable base and fuel available all over the world. I run mine on unleaded with no problems. Easy to light with electronic starter however a word of warning if you overfill the lamp. (Very easy to do) You will flood the electronic starter causing it to break when you light the lamp a new one costs about £13.00. Let there be light! Advantages: small, durable, rechargable batteries Disadvantages: none I have wanted a wind up torch for a while now but had never got round to buying one. Unfortunately my car was vandalised by a spiteful crook on Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning and in order to protect it from the elements my boyfriend suggested we put a temporary layer of paint on it. MAGLITE 3D Flashlight - Damn good, impressive, durable and worth Advantages: Durable, long battery life, sleek Disadvantages: comparatively heavy I saw a maglite torch with a friend who had come to my farm. I knew that I had to have one of my own. I bought the 3D in Pune and am very happy and satisfied with its performance..
