Call me a sad woman - but whilst surfing the shopping channels I saw the Total Gym. Although Chuck Norris probably isn't the best person to advertise it, I was still intrigued and eventually bought it.
Slightly embarrased because TV shopping seems like something that older people do, I was still eager to get delivery. And, I definately wasn't disappointed. This is a brilliant and unique product which works just by using your own body weight. This means that you don't have all those awful weight blocks on your home gym. This folds up like an ironing board and can be tucked away in a cupboard.
It's got pully systems which means that you can choose how much tension you move against by increasing or decreasing the amount of your own body weight that you move. It sounds complicated but it isn't at all.
I've also found that it gives flexibility that other machines don't. Two years ago I shattered my wrist and had to have it pinned. Since I've found conventional machines hard to use.
This machine allows you to use one arm, or two and to choose how much you lift with each. It's basically free form weights.
A brilliant idea - definately recommend.
