...I have owned the TotalGym 1000, for about a year now. The reason why, is because I was channel shopping, and it looked good. It caught my eye, so I watched the programme, and then decided that for £150, you couldn't go wrong. I am a little impulsive like that.
You can do all sorts of exercises on it, so why bother paying to go to a gym, and use lots of machines, when this one does it all?

The setting up of this machine, is not terribly difficult, but it is a little tricky. Basically it all folds out, and fixes together, with really pick metal clips.
On removing it from the box, it is all flat packed. You need to take the sliding board aways, while you set up the frame. Then attatch the sliding board, on it's rollers.

...The gymball, swiss ball, fitnessball, stability ball or whatever other name it comes under, seems to have taken the fitness world by storm. These balls can be purchased in most sports shops, department stores, tv shopping channels, chemists and even supermarkets. They cost between £5 and £15, come with their own pump and usually an instruction leaflet or DVD.
Fitnessballs come in a variety of sizes, 42, 45, 55, 65 and 75cms and you should select your size depending on your height. For safety reasons, the rubber material has been designed to deflate slowly in the event of unexpected damage, so the ball should not burst suddenly, leaving the user in a heap on the floor.
Pumping up the ball, with the hand pump provided does take a little time and the novice user may be unsure of how firm it should be. I'm not sure how...

...This is really a great, multi-use ball. We didnt have any problem with the pump: we inflated, deflated several times and absolutely no problem.
We bought this ball has been purchased because my Husband has a bad back. He is using this ball to seat near the computer, he doesn't need chair. The ball is really helpful if you have got problem with your back. Few excercise a day and you feel really much better.
