Horizon Ti22 Treadmill
Review of Horizon TI22 Treadmill by
wahbob
Advantages: Solid Feel / Price
Disadvantages: Could use more hi-tech gadgets
Regarding the basics, the Horizon Ti 22 is quiet and has a solid feel. The LED monitor has a variety of settings and modes that allow me to adjust my workout. The width of the unit is comfortable, so I don't feel as if I'm going to tip over or stumble when I walk. The most important aspect to the entire unit is its solid feel. I weight 180 pounds, and when I run, I didn't want a machine that bounced, which will increase stress on knees. This unit ... ...at speeds of a 7-minute mile.
The cup holder is pretty basic, and I would have rated it excellent if it had a dvd player like some of the others I looked at, but for the price, you can't go wrong.
Overall, if you're looking for solid build, reasonable price, and if you can forego some of the more expensive gadgets, this is a great treadmill. ...

Old Model I-Walk...I-Run
Review of Reebok I Run + by
paulbeard
Advantages: Very good design, SImple basic controls, Easy to set up
Disadvantages: Very limited pre-set programmes, No power incline
I jog on the road most of the time but moved out into the country this year and while its great in the daytime the roads round here are a bit too narrow and a bit too dark to run on after work - so I wanted a treadmill for these occasions & when its just too foul outside.
Before buying a treadmill I ummed and aahed for a while on whether to invest a lot of money in a full featured treadmill or go basic and see if I actually use the thing. In the ... ...from ebay and I have to say I'm very happy with the choice. the model I bought does not have the black plastic grab handles and has different controls to the model shown here, but seems to be similar in features.
Space is not at a premium for us but I very much appreciate how tidy the I-Run is when folded - and more importantly how quick & easy it is to set up and put away. If you are limited for space this treadmill will be hard to beat - although ...

Broken Rear Guards
Review of BH Fitness Pioneer Pro Folding Treadmill by
tzedragon
Advantages: Works
Disadvantages: Broken Rear Guards
...We have recently gotten a BH Fittness G6446N Pioneer Premium Plug & Run. Purchased sight unseen via the internet.
At the rear of the running deck are 2 plastic guards. I note that this design feature is shared by all of the G6400 series of Treadmills. The guards are held on by friction and one screw, the internal support and plastic casing/body is weak and flimsy.
These guards have not lasted very long and will not take even slight impact. Granted ... ...make the thing look good but they break and are almost impossible to repair. The should be "detachable" and clip on/clip off. Replacement of each broken guard will cost you $35 to replace, including P&H. Each guard needs to be purchased individually, they don't come in sets. The distributor did not appear surprised when I contacted them for replacement guards.
Users and future purchases be advised. ...
