Trek 2001 Vert 3

Advantages: Practically unbreakable
Disadvantages: Suspension needs improving

...The trek 3700 is a great bike as it lasts for years and years without anything going wrong with it. I got mine about 3 years ago and it still hasn't broken, even though i use it everyday! The forks have taken a real beating over the years as i do downhill biking quite a lot and many of my friends have snapped their forks within half the time i've had my trek. The suspension at the front is stiff at first but it soon loosens up and this provides a much more comfortable ride and if you're not bouncing about so much, it's easier to concentrate on the trail. But the suspension also brings about the first problem with the trek as it lacks rear suspension. This makes the ride much less comfortable and therefore enjoyable for someone who would only use it for cycling in urban areas. This is just about the only fault i can find with the trek so... Advantages: Top Quality, first class frame
Disadvantages: a few cheap components

...BEWARE: full of bikers stuff. A long long time ago I was an avid mountain bike fan. There were times when I was covering over 100 miles a day and clearing 10000 miles a year. So I ran quality bike s that would get me around quickly and with minimal effort. I was a cycle courier for a time whilst I decided what to do with myself and on starting a career jib stopped cycling and eventually sold my expensive bikes on. About 3 years ago I bought a Trek 8000 mountain bike. I bought this in a sale for £1100 pounds. I did my home work and came up with the 8000 as a good all round cross country bike that would give me all I needed for a lot less than I used to pay. FRAME. My bike has to be big as I am 6'3". Advantages: very good for soles
Disadvantages: too heavy for skating vert

...Roces "5th elements" area great pair of inline skates. I paid £300 for my pair, now you may think that is quite expensive, but really that's not a lot as inline skates no cost a lot of money. This pair of skates has lasted me from September 1998 to today! They are very agressive skates and it is very easy to do tricks on poles and curbs. I find a topside X grind very easy on theses skates as they have a lot of sole room. However, there is one catch to these almost perfect skates! It is quite hard to skate on ramps as they are quite heavy, so if you are in to vert skating these are not for you! I have come to the conclusion that these are very good skates and are well worth the money you spend on them. I would buy another pair and reccomend them to anybody who is into aggressive inline skating.... Read review
