IDEAL FOR LIGHT RECREATION, ROAD USE

Advantages: Good price, Good looking frame, Smooth disc brakes
Disadvantages: Front Suspension Fork is very poor, esp for off road use

Quick review of Trek 4300 Disc

I have the 2008 model of this bike, and after riding it both on and off road for the past few months I have been unable to fault it. The frame is incredibly light, the gear change is flawless and the disc brakes are superb, very responsive. The front suspension is a little too hard for my liking, but it is more than bearable. The thick tyres are brill, and I have not yet had a puncture, which is very impressive for me. For £350, I don't think you can go wrong with this bike. It's excellent value for money and I certainly don't think you can find a better quality bike for less money. The customer service I have had from Trek has been very impressive. ...
