Advantages: comfortable, flexible and light Disadvantages: twists easily
...I have used the Corax for years now. it was my first harness and there has never been a need to replace it. a testament to its durability.
in terms of comfort the corax is well designed. cushioned on the inside of the waist and leg loops to allow the climber to sit back in the harness for longer periods of time than cheaper harness that lack the padding. this is a great advantage when climbing longer routes, after a few hours on the rock you can easily forget that you're wearing it. further more, the padding is very flexible so it does not hinder movement on the rock. if it couldn't get more comfortable, the padding is designed to be breathable, stop those sweat patches building up on those summer days on the crags! even better, despite the extra padding the weight is still low (510g).
the harness is completely adjustable. the front...

Advantages: Super tough, military specification daysack with internal frame Disadvantages: Not a lot of pockets!
...Made of 1000 denier textured nylon which is as tough as old boots, with synthetic fabric used on body contact areas.
It is fast drying, durable and very comfortable on the back. The alluminium alloy frame gives excellent support and harness rigidity to the pack.
The two buckle lid closure ensures maximum weatherproofing, plus gear can be held under the lid in good weather.
Dual density foam ensures comfort and prevents items in the pack from digging into the back, and there is a waist belt with 25mm webbing which holds the pack snugly onto the back when crossing rough terrain. There are four accessory attatchment points from which 3 bar buckles can be used to attach straps additional to the elastic strapping.
Ideal for use as a civilain or in the military!...

Advantages: Stylish PAS & EN standards Disadvantages: expensive has cheap look-a-likes
...Earlier on today i borrowed my friends hat and it was the champion ventair riding hat. This hat meets the EN1384 and the PAS 015 standards so this means it is classed as safe and you could wear it at riding schools etc.
For £80-100 i wasn't overly impressed as i didnt think it was anything too special and didnt differ from my hat thats 1/2 the price! My hat is a 6 3/4 and the one i borrowed was a 6 7/8 but it was very very tight so if your going to purchase without trying i wouldnt! TRY B4 U BUY :) although the hat looks very stylish apart from the champion it is nearly identical to my less than 1/2 price version. The only thing i did prefer about this hat over mine was the chin strap that was very cushioned and i really liked that. You can adjust the harness at the back of the hat as it is on a drawstring design so it does enable...
