Advantages: Good design Disadvantages: Stickey Valves
I have been trying out the Tusa TR 400 Imperex for two weeks now. I have found it to be very good regulator. The valves seem to be of good quality. At first it worked perfectly and I thought I would never use another regulator. However on my fith dive with the Tusa TR 400 Imperex. As I reached the 40 meter mark the regulator got stuck in the open possition and was squerting out air. When I reached the surface and took the regulator to a reputable dive centre they informed me that the problem was that Tusa had fitted a faulty valve. He fixed the problem and the regulator has been fine since then. I don't think it's a common problem so I wouldn't worry about it.

For beginners it is an excellent start as fish are plentiful in the shallows.All you have to do is get your head wet...And learn to breath under water of course which is a lot easiers than it sounds.
Most of the resort islands have areas where the water never reaches more than waist high,the water is warm & teaming with fish.This combination is ideal as you dont have to go far to experience the diverse sea life.The instant gratification is enough to get you hooked for life as it did with me.

I booked to go to Egypt on holiday this year intending to have a nice relaxing couple of weeks. Having spoken to some friends of mine I found out that Egypt has some of the best diving in the world and decided that in-between relaxing I would have to find some time to do some diving and some snorkelling. While preparing for my visit I remembered primitive snorkels and masks I used to buy as a kid where the mask leaked and the snorkel would attempt to drown you at the first sight of a wave. With this in mind, and the fact that I intend to make a similar visit to Mexico in the near future, I decided I would investigate the possibility of buying a reasonable snorkel and mask.
