**BRIEF PLOT**

I purchased the pulse twin stroller in January 2008 as I was expecting my 3rd child in March 2008, I required the twin pushchair as I already had a 13 month old son. I was initially impressed by the design and look of this pushchair.
However, this was prior to my first encounter with the Mamas & Papas customer care muppet show. The pushchair has now been returned for repair three times due to mechanical failure. However, the ineptitude of the repair personnel pails into insignificance when compare to the arrogance, rudeness and shocking attitude of the members of staff lurking in the Mamas & Papas store.
Having spent over £200 on a product from a highly regarded store I would not have expected to have been made to feel a 'scrounger' when returning the product for repair yet again.

Rubbish!
We bought the twin handset version from Tesco.
Despite fully charging the batteries of both handsets and standing within a foot (30 cm) of the base unit, callers complained they could hardly hear us; if we increased the handset volume (which one had to do with every call - you couldn't pre-set it) the distortion became almost impossible at both ends. Hate to think how poor the quality would have been at any distance from the base.
We took them back to Tesco within a week of purchase and got a full refund. We subsequently wondered if the discounted price ( c £37) was because they were poor quality, but BT still sell them at full list and Tesco prices are also now back up to £50+.
Also you need internet access to view the full instruction leaflet as BT pack only a single-sheet potted version with the phones in ...
