Advantages: Very warm and easy to get on and off Disadvantages: Needs to be fitted well (just like any other wetsuit)
...Alder wetsuits tend to have a pretty big reputation, perhaps not as big as others, but they should do!
I used this wetsuit when surfing in Wales this May and i have to say it was great! I hired it from the local surf shop, PJ's in my size and found it almost perfect!
The suit i used was a 3/2mm thickness, with a zip back, velcro on the neck, with titanium in the list of components and taped seams to promote further warmth - a must for every British surfer!
The wetsuit was easy to get on (excluding the zip for me - I'm not familiar with zipping things up my back) and comfortable once on. The neck wasn't too tight, nor was any of the suit and i could move easily compared to other wetsuits i have used. While in the sea i could feel the water slipping into my suit and i think the suit may have been slightly too big for me, but regardless...

Advantages: Lightweight and flexible Disadvantages: None
...As I feel the cold quite often when I'm diving I decided to invest in a cyberskin as I had read good reports about it in various dive magazines. I wasn't keen on buying a semi-dry to take abroad with me as I feel they can be cumbersome. I usually wear a 5mm Gul Steamer but felt I needed some extra insulation.
The cyberskin is 0.5mm thick and extremely light. The material is silky and flexible and feels extremely comfortable. It comes in women's and men's sizes from small through to XXL and is £65. Although it is only 0.5mm thick it is equal in warmth to a 2mm wetsuit and can be used alone for diving in warmer waters. I bought an all in one with a back zipper but it is possible to purchase it as a separate top and bottoms. I had thought that it might be difficult to get my 5mm wetsuit over the top of it but in actual fact it made...

Advantages: cheap and good for the summer Disadvantages: Not good for winter
...The gul titanium 2 full suit wet suit is very good for the summer. Its lets in water because it has a overlock stitch but that doesn't matter for the summer. I would say even on the coldest summer days I could stay out in the sea for about 2 hours before I really start to feel the cold. This wet suit is so good because of its price at only £40 that's better then buying one for a couple hundred. I brought it a surf shop in Hayle called down the line which is a good shop. I would never wear this wet suit in the winter though it is just to thin at about 2mm. It isn't the best quality wet suit you could buy but what do you expect. I would reckon mend this wetsuit to anyone....
