Background
I have been doing football coaching now for almost four years and in that time, I've had several pairs of boots from all the leading sports manufacturers. Although I don't play competitive games, it is still important to have the right footwear as I will be spending roughly 3 hours per week in these boots during training and on the touchline during matches. These were the first pair of Umbro boots I tried after using Nike and Adidas in the past.
The boot in more detail
First impressions were that the boots were very well made. I was sceptical about having white boots as I was expecting them to have gone a nice muddy browny white colour after a few uses which to my surprise, never happened as the boots cleaned nicely just by wiping a wet rag over them.
The boots were very comfortable to wear ...
My main point of view is I found that this new ball by Umbro to be a bit of a let down once again. The problem with all umbro balls is they are very prone to slow punctures, and once again it hasn't let me down . Within two weeks along comes another puncture. It doesnt seem to matter how expensive the ball, although with Umbro they never seem to have very expensive footballs in the first place you just cant get much usage out of them. For some bicular reason I think they cut corners when it comes to the making of them, maybe using the same technology for the inner baloon that they have always used or maybe I am wrong, but either way it seems to be an ongoing problem with Umbro and there football and because of this I needed to buy a new football once a again. Dont get me wrong I wont ever stop coming back and buying a new Umbro ball ...
Advantages: A good quality product that is durable. Disadvantages: None.
Rubber gloves are not on my list of favourite things to buy, I rarely wear them for anything else other cleaning drains or unblocking sink traps.
But saying that I always keep a pair in my cupboard for dealing with those unforeseen emergencies.
Getting the right type of rubber gloves can be tricky, some are so flimsy that they tear on their first outing, others can be so thick that you cannot feel your fingers and if you manage to buy the right size first time around then you are a far better woman than I am.
The cheap rubber gloves are very hit and miss, they invariably have no lining and will end up damaging the skin on your hands. I find that the supermarket own brands often make my hands sweat so when I take the glove off my skin looks wrinklier than ever.
Pay a little more for a pair of rubber gloves and you seem to get ...
