It is easy to forget, in the computer age that is 2009, that animated films were once all hand drawn; each cell painstakingly illustrated; backgrounds pencilled and inked, the artists? hands shaping the final product. A Ralph Bakshi film is immediately recognisable as coming from his studio, and instantly distinguishable from an offering from the Disney conglomerate. To modern eyes, much of the animation from the late 20th Century may seem primitive, lacking the 3D rendering of today?s computer generated products, and also lacking the consistency of style that most modern animated popular cinematic films seem to have.

You have a story of the History of the Unicorn (2 pages long), a Unicorn Hunt (where you have to find the hidden unicorns), a Unicorns Craft page which shows you how to create your door hanger and how to make a wall banner (this requires additional things like string and felt which is not provided) and also needs scissors so some adult supervision required but pretty easy to follow instuctions, it also shows you how to use your unicorn stencils to create your own stationery (again very easy), this is where you would use your glitter pens. You then have a Unicorn Game (again this requires you to provide your own dice and counters). The Nintendo Wii is a brilliant piece of equipment, there's no doubt about it. The ingenuity behind the console cannot be doubted. However, like many of the games I've played on the Nintendo Wii, Mario Strikers Charged Football has a very limited "life". That is, after a day of playing, you'll never feel like picking up the handset to it again.
The game was a lot of fun to begin with. Running around with characters such as Mario, Luigi, their evil counterparts - Wario and Waluigi and other characters such as Donkey Kong, Bowser, Yoshi and more. The game requires a Nunchuk to be attached to the Wiimote as controls are found on both the Nunchuk and the main Wiimote.
