It is easy to forget, in the computer age that is 2009, that animated films were once all hand drawn; each cell painstakingly illustrated; backgrounds pencilled and inked, the artists? hands shaping the final product. A Ralph Bakshi film is immediately recognisable as coming from his studio, and instantly distinguishable from an offering from the Disney conglomerate. To modern eyes, much of the animation from the late 20th Century may seem primitive, lacking the 3D rendering of today?s computer generated products, and also lacking the consistency of style that most modern animated popular cinematic films seem to have.

ITV were quick to bring their events back to our screens and had six or seven events back on the TV with months and things were starting to pick up, where they were dead before. The B.D.O. didn't like this and in 1993 they banned all 16 players who had joined the W.D.C. from County darts, Super league, all B.D.O. Tournaments & Internationals. Their only was back was to back them. But they didn`t as they could see imminent success from this new format!
They even threatened to ban mor BDO players if they were found to be playing WDC players in any match even charity events!
Everyone at thw WDC stuck together except for Mike Gregory and Chris Johns ...

I could not believe that I had to suggest this as a new product! Darts has been around for a fair while, but is not on this site...! Anyway, I'll stop moaning and write.
BBC2 have been showing the World Darts Championship on TV this week, and, to be honest (don't laugh) I have enjoyed it a lot! I am not sure if this opinion will be posted before the final on Sunday, but if it is, watch it! Even if its just the last couple of sets.
Everyone knows what darts is about...you thrown three darts at a board, and lower your score from 501, finishing on 0 using a double. Alternate turns with another person obviously. You win a set by winning three legs, and the amount of sets varies with the stage in the competition. Usually starts with five legs, building up to eleven (I think) in the final.
