...of manouvreability - you can 'wheel' it on two its two front feet, which turn like wheels so you don't have to lift the whole thing to move it - which is useful. To maintain this machine, you may occasionally need to oil some of the moving joints - a little WD40 will do nicely, but apart from that you just have to use it regularly to stop the dust settling! This is a very good, sturdy machine that will give you an excellent cardiovascular work out and won't impact on your joints. If you want to take up jogging, but can't stand the rain and cold, or don't want to be seen in running in public, this is the perfect compromise. It is slightly on the expensive side compared to what you can buy standard elliptical machines for, but I think it's worth the money purely because of the inbuilt seat! Let's get fit people!... Advantages: MAKES YOU A FIT AND HEALTHY PERSON
Disadvantages: absolutely none.. a tad bit costly but worth it!

...Let all of your blubber simply Run away with the tunturi's cross trainer! Plonk your chubby teenager on this machine infront of Big Brother and your good to go.. or rather they are good to go! They will get fit in no time! No excuse not to excersize now!! It is a superb machine! Will last absolutely forver! It is deffinetly like something you would find in a suave health club as it is such good quality and it certianly looks it! We received this fabulous machine only a matter of weeks ago and already all of our 6 family members have toned up and become addicted to the excersize. The cross-trainer comes in a box of dis-assembled peices. It also includes a well detailed, thick instruction booklet and a small booklet on the instructions to use when assembling. The bigger peices are very heavy and so I advise you not to try lifting... Read review

Disadvantages: Setting clearances of magnets is fiddly

...can however feel the drag once they are in use. The other main dynamo type is fitted inside the front wheel hub and has minimal drag, but some drag is there 24/7 irrespective of whether the lights are on or not. Now just suppose someone could come up with a dynamo light that stays on when you're not moving, and hardly has any perceptible effect on your effort to get home against the wind. Well Reelight have! (See www.2pure.co.uk) Someone's obviously put a lot of thought into this classically 'simple' idea; the simple idea being that if you pass a permanent magnet over an electrical coil, it induces a current into that coil. Do it often enough with a strong enough magnet and you've just reinvented the bike dynamo for the 21st century, only this time, thanks to LED lighting, the power needs are tiny, and therefore the drag on your poor...
