Advantages: Range, Speed, Fun Disadvantages: No safety cut out, heavy on land
...I rode the Apollo AV1 this weekend when I hired one from a local dive school here in Lanzarote.
I use the word "rode" deliberately because it was fitted with the optional "saddle."
What a fantastic experience! You actually sit down on the scooter, so that it is between your legs. There is then a pull lever with six positions on it to control the speed. Leaving it on speed one is basically and idle with the prop just turning, but maximum is awesome, flying through the water at around 3 knots.
You literally "fly", controlling turns, ascents and descents by adjusting your fins like an aircraft - it's even possible to loop the loop!
Battery life is excellent at 80 minutes on a full charge, and the maximum depth rating is 50 meters.
The unit is heavy to haul around on land, but is just right in the water, being slightly negatively bouyany...

Advantages: cheap, relatively easy to install, has many uses Disadvantages: rather small display, not as many functions as other products
...I've used my vectra quite a bit now and i would reccomend it to any budding cyclist. It is small and relatively easily to install, ensuring that no unecessary mass is added to your bike. Yes, it has its disadvantages which include a lack of functions (such as a heart rate monitor) and during rain or sunny weather it is rather hard to read the display. However overall it prevails. It is a neat bit of kit and is especially useful for those longer cycling trips, where distances and speeds are important to gauge exactly where you are. It is also a good tool for anyone trying to improve their fitness as it is an easy way of ensuring that you complete so much exercise each week. But finally i found the odometer the best function as it can be really satisfying to know that you have cycled over 1000km...

Advantages: Gives choice of total/upper/lower body exercise Disadvantages: not suitable for a tall person
...I have used this bike for over an year now. Delta Freeway cycle is recommended by manufacturer for users under 120 kg body weight. I did not find any specification for height. We found that when the seat is adjusted to the highest position stability of cycle is reduced. Good for height range 5'3" to 5'11". Was not suitable for our guest who was 6'1".
Seat adjustment to suit different height is difficult but not too bad. Sometimes very hard to fit the screw in the right slot! Seat is not very comfortable if you want to use it for longer periods, you might end up with a sore bottom, ok for short use.
Resistance adjustment is erratic, there are no position markings and if often not proportional to turning of screw. Like half turn can make it quite strong resistance at times and sometimes its not quite so!!
Good points: Good manual...
