Nice, robust, tent. Apparently some sellers discontinued it as there were concerns over it leaking, but we've had a couple of very rainy nights in ours and no problems.
Durability - some of the hooks/clips that attach the bedroom pods to the tent have come off (due to children jumping around) but can be sewn back on. It comes with a DVD showing you how to put it up - you can do it without watching it but there are some handy tips so it's worth a ... ...camping trips, but found it cut pitching time by 10 mins or so - it now takes us around 45 mins to pitch.
Loads of room - spacious bedrooms (easily sleeps 6), large living area. Great for families as there's space for cooking, playing, etc. Good layout, with the bedroom/living room dividing line going along the lenght of the tent rather than the width (so the tunnel arc is from front to back rather than side to side if that make sense). The Breckenridge is a new steel framed tunnel tent - but with a twist. The unique pre-shaped poles give the tent a wind cheating profile so that when pitched with the back into the wind should allow any breeze to pass over more easily. The internal layout is also slightly more radical with the sleeping accommodation situated along the length of the tent rather than just at one or either end. Each of the bedroom inners is also removable which gives the maximum flexibility when arranging the sleeping and living areas. The three bedroom compartments will easily enable accommodation for 6-9 people. The groundsheet is fully sewn-in throughout negating problems with drafts, water seepage while ventilation has been maximized via the mesh venting in the inner tent and the window panels to minimize condensation. There is a main front door plus two side entry doors giving choice of access according to weather conditions and an 'oversized' front porch which makes for an ideal al-fresco dining area. Specific features include 'Crystal Clear' windows with internal covers, mesh ventilation throughout inner tent, a Protex 3000 durable polyester flysheet (3000mm hydrostatic head), taped seams, colour coded poles and continuous pole sleeves, flysheet first pitching, breathable polyester inners, steel poles, roller bag, repair kit.
