Review of the Victorinox Century Swiss Army Knife

Advantages: Sharp serrated blade, attractive design.
Disadvantages: None that spring to mind.

I have four of the things, and use them for camping trips, jobs around the house and those bizarre tasks that pop up from time to time (ever got a lump of chewing gum stuck to your shoe before a meeting?!?) Swiss Army Knife - Don't camp without it

Advantages: so many different varieties, for whatever purpose
Disadvantages: may need oiling if not kept properly

The Victorinox Swiss Army Knife is an essential tool for anyone going on any sort of a camping trip or hike. These knives can be found anywhere in the world with a huge assormtment of functionalities. They can be as small as your pinky or as long as your middle finger and as fat as a hot dog bun. If you are really out in the woods or somewhere else in the middle of nowhere, a knife will always come in handy as might a saw and scissors and the whole lot of things that come on those knives. Some of them even have compasses (extremely useful tool). You can get addons to your knives as well. If you wear glasses you can get a special little screw device that screws into the cork puller-outer, which has such a small screwing nozzle that it is perfect for tightening your lenses. A knife With A Point

Advantages: Sharp blades, expected host of features, Victorinox quality
Disadvantages: Reliability of electronics not proven

strongly. 12. (scissors) These may be small, but they are sharp and fit together very well so cut things quickly and precisely as long as the material isn't too thick. So far they have cut paper, card, wire and string very well for me. 13. (multipurpose hook) A slightly odd looking thing without much of a hook on the end but again I'm sure you could find a use for it if the situation arose. 14. (altimeter) This is quite a nice addition to these newer range of Swiss Army Knifes. It calculates the height based on atmospheric pressure so doesn't need to be calibrated at a known height before you start walking, or biking each time you use it. It seems to be reasonably accurate, but as warned on the packaging it is slow to react so is no use to skydivers! Calibrating it is done with one button (this replaces the Victorinox symbol so ...
