In terms of manouvreability - you can 'wheel' it on two its two front feet, which turn like wheels so you don't have to lift the whole thing to move it - which is useful.
To maintain this machine, you may occasionally need to oil some of the moving joints - a little WD40 will do nicely, but apart from that you just have to use it regularly to stop the dust settling!
This is a very good, sturdy machine that will give you an excellent cardiovascular work out and won't impact on your joints. If you want to take up jogging, but can't stand the rain and cold, or don't want to be seen in running in public, this is the perfect compromise.
It is slightly on the expensive side compared to what you can buy standard elliptical machines for, but I think it's worth the money purely because of the inbuilt seat!
Let's get fit people!...

Advantages: great for weightloss, fun for all the family, improves posture, balance and health Disadvantages: expensive, can only register up to 8 family members
...im not all that bothered about that I never get round to it. However, with the wii fit its in the living room and I can do it in the privacy of my own home. If im going to get hot and sweaty I can do it in some old clothes or pyjamas and then have a proper bath or shower in the comfort of my house. I'd never get round to going to the gym but with the wii fit entering my line of vision every time I walk past the television its hard to resist!!! The added element of competition definitely helps too!
Every now and then the program will also ask your family members to comment on various aspects of your health. For example my brother got a question about whether I was looking any thinner and gave him a variety of options - he delighted in selecting an option saying that I looked fatter!! I have also had questions on family members posture...

Advantages: Easy way to keep fit. Disadvantages: Can't think of any.
...Last Christmas, my mum (a.k.a. "Santa") got the family a Wii Fit - hinting at my sister and I that we need to keep fit. I'm going to admit, I'm a bit fat. Now, I'm not one of those people you see in documentaries who can't get out of bed because they're huge but I could stand to lose a stone or two. I used to go to the gym twice a week but I found it too difficult and it was straining keeping up with my trainer, and I felt embarassed whenever I told him I couldn't do something. I did lose about half a stone though so I was happy about that. When I started using the Wii fit I was a bit anxious about trying it out because it had been a while since I'd been to the gym and I wasn't too keen to let my family see how unfit I was! However, I've been using it on-and-off since Christmas and it's great! It's been about a month since I last used it...
