I keep my horse out as much as possible when the weather permits as she suffers with COPD so I need good quaity rugs to help keep her dry and warm. I have tried various rugs for my horse and most brands have rubbed her shoulders and neck. Weatherbeeta has to be the best company to make great fitting rugs that don't cost the earth which is handy as my horse has a tendency to trash at least one a year so I don't want to spend a lot of money each time. I bought mine for £75 off an internet site (TDS saddlery). I also love the fact that Weatherbeeta have started bringing out new colours so I can buy lots of lovely raspberry coloured rugs for my horse. Also they have a wide range of styles and sizes to suit most horses and ponies. I found that this rug was not very obtainable this year as it was in high demand especially over winter. I found searching over the internet to purchase this rug before everyone else does. The fastenings are designed for ease of use and are still secure enough to stay done up. I like the cross over leg straps and the velcro hood fastenings. I also find the inside of the rug, I think it's nylon, very easy to keep clean and prevents rubbing. The rug also never slips back or twists after my horse has rolled.

interested to read that they're getting more adventurous with colours now. In my day of owning horses - 10 years ago now :-( - it was blue or green or nothing for outdoor rugs pretty much, Flick x
