Advantages: Quick, Easy to use. Good results can be achived. Doesn't require expert knowledge/ability Disadvantages: Instructional video could be better, poor packaging
too good to be true - they were rubbing away at a piece of car bodywork with sandpaper then applying the special cream and hey presto! - it was as good as new - surely a trick of the camera?!
With nothing to loose my kit duly arrived from Halfords at a not unreasonable cost of £25. On opening up the package you can't help but feel a little short changed. For such a large box there really isn't very much inside it - it's mostly packing! What you do get is:
a VHS video guide on how to use the product,
the scratch removal cream,
1500 grade wet and dry paper,
clear coat liquid,
brush,
power drill foam attachment
'Touch-up' sticks
rubbing block.
Apparently the kit has been put together by Mer with the aid of Farecla who are experts in auto bodywork repair.

Advantages: Cheaper than leading brands and works better, cheaper replacement parts Disadvantages: don't work well on 8cm cd's
Having reviewed the No 1 in the world cd repair tool and found out it was a flop and waste of money, I have tried a few other techniques. This review is on the Procare CD/DVD repairkit found at Maplin and possibly other stores.
~ The kit ~
You get the cd repair too itself which is motorised, you get the adapter, cd sanding discs, cd buffing discs and cleaning fluid. It comes in a nice flat box that is easy to store after use.

This is slightly different to the worlds No1 cd repair tool in that it appears to look like a cd walkman, you put the sanding discs in first and then put the scratched cd in with label facing up. Close the lid, plug power in and the press the on button.
The tool will start sanding the disc to remove the scratch and will be done in three minutes, once finished take a look ...
Advantages: durable value for money good quality Disadvantages: dirty sidewalls on tanwall version. thread can wear down
brakeless and like to use your feet on your tyre as a stopping/skidding method, I would recomend this tyre. The centre of my thread has worn down due to excessive foot stopping but the tyre still has good traction and thickness so i would describe it has durable althougth the thread has worn off, but i doubt any other tyre would of withstood the amount of pressure and treatment i have given this.
I must say i used to be very prone to getting punctures before i got these tyres and since i've had these, i've only had to repair a puncture once in almost 6-8 months regular riding on (trails) and very mild street riding.
The tyre has a maximum PSI of 90 which is good if you like a fully strong pumped tyre. With the tanwall version of this tyre i have seen red and blue colour varitions if you like having colourful bikes.
Price wise, everything in ...
