Advantages: Great full for all age ranges Disadvantages: A bit fiddly to get the net on
The basketball set was bought for my 2-year olds birthday. It took a bit of time to put up and the net was a bit fiddly to put on, but once up its great fun. The adjustable height for the hoop is great - I have 2 teenagers, a 5 year old and my 2 year old and everyone could play together. Its easy to adjust the hoop through to the different heights. The bottom height, I feel, is still a little to high for my youngest to put the ball in without any help, so maybe it could have done with being lowered slightly. Other than that its great for keeping the kids entertained and outside away from the playstations and the television. I think the age range should say from 3 years onwards and not 2 like stated on the box ...
Advantages: Immersive story line, believable acting, soundtrack Disadvantages: Very basketball orientated - difficult to understand if you don't know much about basketball
I purchased this film many years ago, in fact I think it was about 6 years ago, maybe 7, and I watched it for the millionth time last night and thought to myself "people really need to know how good this film is"... The boy, Quincy, (Omar Epps) has dreams of making it big time in the NBA (National Basketball Association) and has all the tools and money to do so, due to his father being ...
Advantages: It's just sick Disadvantages: Lots of rules
with the ball. It's also important to note that dribbling wasn't found in the game at all, making it even more like the other variation of basketball. Seven of these rules are just as today, but there are many more now than there here.
The first game of "Basket Ball" was played in Springfield on the 21st of December, with the result ending at 1-0. There was a lot of confusion over the rules, so many fouled over the course of play, but it did set us up for this game we have now.
After one month of play amongst these students, the game was quite popular, causing many women to get interested in playing the sport. The did by 1895, where there was a 9-on-9 game at Smith College in Northampton, close to Springfield, in the same state.
The popularity continued, and the rules were altered over time, resulting in the first male 5-on-5 game in 1896 ...
