Wilson Pro Staff Extreme

...I have not been a great fan of Wilsons rackets recently anmd have found them to be very stiff and not very playable. However, about a month ago during a demo, I picked this racket up thinking that it was similar to my last racket and it appeared to have a similar design to the Wilson Pro Staff. This racket however was very playable and I was able to get control with realtilve power. I did not find it as stiff as the previous Wilson rackets but I must say that it is the best Wilson racket that is available to buy today. Players such as Magnus Norman are current users of this racket and I could easily use this racket myself.... Read review

Advantages: Good pucnh and good control for an hyper carbon racket
Disadvantages: needs more control

...This is a pretty good racket. Coming into the hyper carbon era in tennis from graphite this racket has a lot of punch to it, and also has a lot of control to it. The control may not be has good as the original ProStaff graphite racket which was used by former no. 1 Pete Sampras. However comparing this racket to other hyper carbon rackets this racket has good control. The punch in this racket makes it easier to play shots witm more power and little effort, however the draw back with this racket for me has been when trying to attack an approach ball. When you try to put a little more effort in the attack the racket usually ends up giving to much of a punch making the ball out of control.... Read review
