Advantages: Good pucnh and good control for an hyper carbon racket Disadvantages: needs more control
This is a pretty good racket. Coming into the hyper carbon era in tennis from graphite this racket has a lot of punch to it, and also has a lot of control to it. The control may not be has good as the original ProStaff graphite racket which was used by former no. 1 Pete Sampras. However comparing this racket to other hyper carbon rackets this racket has good control. The punch in this racket makes it easier to play shots witm more power and little effort, however the draw back with this racket for me has been when trying to attack an approach ball. When you try to put a little more effort in the attack the racket usually ends up giving to much of a punch making the ball out of control. ...
Advantages: Long drive. extra 30-40 yards when hit on sweep spot Disadvantages: Shaft a bit soft.
I'm 15 handicap golfer. I bought this driver from direct-golf for £29.99 on special offer promotion. This driver is good and giving more extra distance when you hits on sweep spot. I get another 30-40 yards extra when using this driver compared to my Callaway Steel Head III driver. Nice feeling and the head size is not to big. it's coming with nice head cover as well. The only problem with me is, the shaft. Eventhough mine is stiff shaft but don't think it stiff in-half. For people who have a quick swing try get extra-stiff shaft. This product going cheaper now due to WilsonStaff Come out with new model PD6. This PD5 is brilliant for people who want a good driver without spending a lots of money. ...

Manufacturer's product description
The brand new Wilson Spine Driver was launched in early 2008 and has shown tremendous interest. It focuses on the HIGH MOI, LOW Centre of Gravity concept to increase forgiveness but not at the expense of distance. As the name SPINE suggests, the Driver is powered by an innovative crown super structure and unique perimeter weighting, the new Wilson Staff Spine driver explores today\'s new driver geometry, generating high MOI and gives explosively long and accurate results. The Spine Driver achieves a high MOI and low Centre of Gravity by redistributing weight from the center of the crown to the perimeter. As a result it is the industry\'s first truly perimeter weighted driver with a higher MOI and lower CG than traditional 460cc drivers. Weight has been scooped out of the crown and moved down around the perimeter to lower the Centre of Gravity for higher
