Advantages: Original sound as far as I know, lovely voice. Disadvantages: Probably an album that won't be found in shops other than in sweden.
...It's fairly hard to write a review of an artist most have probably never heard of, but I'll try my best.
Intro
I discovered Jenny Wilson by mistake, I'd found a video on youtube of her and Robyn doing a cover of a song called 'list of demands' and out of curiosity I did a bit more research into who Jenny Wilson was, I was glad that I had. After hearing a few songs online, I found the album (which wasn't that easy) and brought a copy, it's a very original sound with beautiful instrumental arrangements and I couldn't understand why I had not heard of her.
Like Robyn she is a Swedish singer, although their music is not at all the same. Since my other music review is on Robyn's album it may look as if I am Swedish myself or a huge fan of Swedish music, I'm not.. and I say this from an honest British perspective - If she's popular...

...~~~A Personal History~~~
Sister is Sonic Youth's 5th album, but when it came out in 1987 it was the first of theirs that I had heard. 15 at the time, it blew me away. This is the album that fired me with a passion for music that has stayed with me to this day.

Advantages: Great Acting, excellent story Disadvantages: Some sad scenes of the Afghan suffering
...Charlie Wilson's War is a film which I had been undecided about for a few weeks so I finally took the plunge and bought it. I think the deciding factor was that it stared Tom Hanks and Julie Roberts, both of which I like.
The film features Charlie Wilson, played by Tom Hanks who is a party loving Congress man. He is good friends with Joanne who is a rich Socialite, played by Julia Roberts. Joanne manages to talk Charlie into looking at the troubles in Afghanistan where they are being invaded by the Russians. Charlie goes and sees the troubles first hand and is shocked at what he finds. He does agree to help Joanne by getting the weapons and ammunition which they need to defend their country. To do this Charlie is helped by a CIA agent, Gust Avrakotos and soon finds he needs to persuade the Congress to give them large amounts of money...
