Advantages: Good control racket Disadvantages: Heavy racket
Roger Federer's racket for the tour, the one he has been using from the Australian Open 2007 onwards.
The racket comes from Wilson. When I play with this racket, I found that the racket swings through just a bit quicker than the nSix One Tour (the old style racket). It gave the impression of being a bit more aerodynamic through the air, both for groundstrokes and serves, thus adding power.
The string bed seeemed to give more bite on the ball which gave more potential for spin & control.
Conclusion: If you have the ability to cope with a heavy racket, then you will definately get more power and control from your game.
Would suit all advanced players or extreme hard hitters.
Wilson are always my racket of choice from the first time I pickd up the original pro staff tour (Sampras's racket of choice) ...
Advantages: A lot of power and a large sweet spot Disadvantages: Paintwork etc prome to being chipped away easily
Provided you have reasonably powerful legs and arms, and basic core strength this racket will treat you very well. It will deliver for you countless inside-out forhand winners and vicious down the line drives with great satisfaction and little effort. However, you do need strength to use this racket - and proper technique is a necessity if you plan on using any babolat. Countless times my friends attempt to use my Aero Pro Drive without proper tennis coaching and find balls spinning hopelessly over the court fencing!
This racket has massive power at its disposal but to release it without a lot of effort on your behalf you must have a consistent and effective technique in both bread and butter baseline swings. If you feel that this is the racket for you, i would recommend trying it (or any similar Babolat model) first to make sure you ...
Advantages: spin, power, good strings and style Disadvantages: heavy racket
spot, which is quite forgiving as I tend to miss the sweetspot a lot.
The design is very unique and I got noticed when I used it on the tenniscourt and many people around had a feel. I am happy with the design and colors chosen for this racket as I prefer a brightly colored tennisracket.
My only problems of this racket is that it is predominately head heavy (i prefer a more balanced racket) and I would personally change the grip or add an overgrip as it is a bit on the thin side.
Although not my favorite racket I would still use it occasionally because of the spin shots and accuracy. I do however recommend this for advanced players who like attacking from the baseline and can produce lots of topspin. More importantly, someone who has arms like Nadal! ...
