Advantages cheap

Disadvantages easy to damage, doesnt look good, too light

I do not think, that wintecs are good saddles. They are made from textil instead of leather and that means, it is very easy to damage. I have once seen a dressage rider on a competition, using an old wintec saddle and it looked really horrible. Like if she would use an old pullover on a horse back. Also I think, that these saddles are too light and thats not good. It doesnt protect the horse back from your weight and it keeps moving instead of lying still. True, they are cheap and easy to care about, but who wants to sit on a wet saddle? (the only way to wash it is with water). My opinion is, that leather saddles are much better. I know, that there was a big boom, everybody bought wintec saddles, but somehow nobody has them anymore.

Terrible review - you give absolutely no evidence that you have even used the product!! This appears to be an outsiders opinion regarding synthetic saddles in general. I love my leather saddle, but my youngster will be changing shape considerably over the next couple of years and I require a cheap, adjustable saddle that will be comfortable for us both and that we can use for "messing about" in years to come. I certainly don't fancy taken my beautiful stubben when going for a mad gallop on the beach. From other reviews it seems like the Wintec 2000 should suit my needs well.

I also have several Wintec saddles and they have lasted me years without becoming tacky and worn out through some hard wear and tear, so i definatly approve of them but nice to hear a point of view from the other side. Thanx for the read :)
