Ive got a wintec synthetic saddle and i've had it for about a year!! I cant stand the smell of saddle soap and it makes my hands all sticky and horrible ewww!! With a wintec synthetic saddle i dont have to use saddle soap at all!!! Its amazing!! All I have to do is wipe it over with a damp cloth when im finished riding and TADAR!!! its clean!!!!! No smelly saddles soap to be seen!! My horse is a rescue horse so can ocasionally be nervous and with my old leather saddle she would sometimes move away when i went to put it on because it was so heavy and probably uncomfortable for her. So I bought this wintec saddle and its so light weight that im sure she hardly even notices it's there! Its easy for my to carry around, I can easily take it to the stables on my bike which would have been completely impossible with my heavy leather saddle! Another good point. Its the most comfortable saddle ive ever ridden in. Now ive heard reports from other people who say they dont find synthetic saddles comfortable at all. However I think this could be because if you've been riding in a leather saddle for years it would be difficult to change to synthetic however ive only ridden in leather saddles for 5 years so it was possibly an easy transition for me to make compared to people who have been riding for longer. Overall I absolutly LOVE my saddle and would never go back to a leather one. Its light weight, comfortable for both me and my horse and I dont have to use saddle soap at all!!!!

I like the Wintecs for a good general purpose saddle, but hte synthetic dressage is good too!! naomi x

Yeah i agree with the more info bit, where can you buy them, how much etc! A good op tho, i would rate it higher if you included morw info! Oh yeah and i find leather more comfy myself! xxx
Advantages: Light weight, easy care, comfortable seat, easy change gullets, looks good Disadvantages: A bit slippy on my low-withered pony, hard to fit to her shape
