Good Woodworm Cricket Bat for a Junior/Beginner

Advantages: Value for money
Disadvantages: Not the best quality

I recommended this bat to a brother of mine, a beginner, with not much experience of the game. I recommened this bat because of its value for money, as a junior or beginner, you don't want to be paying too much money for a bat, as it is all about fun, and not being too serious. As for the bat itself, you get what you pay for, you know when you pay around £20 your not going to get the best bat ever, but for a junior or beginner to the game it would be excellent due to its durability and weight. The bat my brother bought still exists now, well worn but he still uses it to this day, around a year or two ago when he bought it, he likes it and hes picky! In review i recommend this bat to all it fits, and i hope this has helped you all in the search of a new cricket bat. Regards, mrcricket. ...

Brian Lara Cricket - 2007 (PS2)

Advantages: Best cricket game at the moment, play world cup, test and one dayers, all teams
Disadvantages: Poor fielding, test match unrealistic

This is my second cricket game that I have ever owned for console - the first was the original Brian Lara Cricket Game. I haven't played on any of the other previous BLC games before this. I also chose to get this instead of Cricket 2007 (EA Sports) after reading reviews and playing both games at friends houses. The game is a good, realistic(ish), cricket game that is the best out there at the moment. Starting with the positives. I like the bowling and batting. They are easy to pick up (perhaps too easy - see later). With the analog stick you can place shots to perfection. Also batting is all about the timing - too early or late and the shot is not good. Bowling can be varied with special deliveries (although it can be hard to actually get this to work sometimes). The variation on ball speed is good as well. There are plenty ...

It's all the Buzz ... junior!

Advantages: Great fun for children and family
Disadvantages: None from us

as you do need to be able to read to know which games you are putting into your custom game, but it is handy having a few saved custom games. I have found on a few occasions that I can turn it on and leave the kid to it so I have peace whilst making dinner. My only advice to you if you plan on buying this game is to encourage your child to pick the same colour dinosaur each time! My son was orange for ages and then suddenly changed to green. Halfway through the game he couldn't figure out why his player wasn't moving ... He was looking at the wrong player! www.buzzjunior.com Some other Buzz Junior games include: Jungle Party Monster Rumble Robo Jam Required for play: PlayStation2 A set of four buzz controllers can vary in price from £10 - £20. We found wireless ones from Tesco for £15. © znh3ra54 and oioiyou on Dooyoo 2009 ...
