I was given a pair of these boots because my yard owner sold her horse. I didn't know what to expect with them, and tried them out on my own horses as soon as I could. I used them first for lunging, and they worked very well. The boots were brand new, and were a little stiff at first but soon softened and moulded to my gelding's legs. The velcro is very strong, and the boots stay in place.
I've used these boots almost every day for the last three years, and they still look new. The colour had faded a little on the straps, but the stiching is still in great condition. They're easy to wash- I throw them in the washer on a cool wash and they come out looking like new.
I've used these boots for pretty much everything, including cross country. I feel that they offer good all round protection, but maybe aren't tough enough for cross country on a young horse, or one who isn't careful.
They stay in place very well. I've never had a problem with these boots slipping, or had rubs from them. I'd reccomend these boots to anyone- they're cheap enought to have several pairs, and because they come in a wide range of colours, you can mix and match!
