Ooh, I've been meaning to write a review of this CD for ages since I requested it to be added some months ago now, but so many distractions, so little time! Anyway now I've got round to doing it, here we go?? Let's start with a quick, potted rundown of the artist for those who may be unfamiliar with the name. The luscious (yes, he's one of my many crushes?..!) 37 year old Scott Weiland was lead singer of rock band the Stone Temple Pilots from 1991 for about 10 years. He fell into the 'traditional' round of drug and alcohol addiction for a few years before going through rehab and emerging as lead singer with Velvet Revolver last year. Somewhere amidst all this in 1998 he produced this solo album, "12 Bar Blues", released on the Atlantic label, which was met with mixed reactions from fans and music press alike. This solo album ...

Davy Crockett ranch - Disney

Advantages: great pool, good cabins and great deals available
Disadvantages: 15 minute drive from main parks

I went to Disneyland last week with my family and stayed there for 3 nights at the Davy Crockett Ranch. I have now visited Disneyland Paris 6 times and have also been to Disney world in Orlando as well last year. However I have stayed at the Disney hotel and a few of the others but I have to say that Davy Crockett ranch has to be one of the best ones there and certainly my favourite as it has so many great features and offers much more as well as being more free. The Accommodation: When you stay there you will be put in a small wooden cabin in a particular area which are all named such as Tomahawk or Bobcat. Each small 'camp' includes about 50 to 100 cabins all with separate parking spaces and outdoor bins. Inside you have a choice of either a one or two bedroom hut and all of them can sleep up to 6 people, with a double bed ...

Review of Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch

Loose Women ITV1 12.30-1.30pm

Advantages: too many to name
Disadvantages: none

I became obsessed by 'Loose women' last year when I was almost housebound because of prolapsed discs in my back. It is a chat show which goes out live on ITV1 every weekday from 12.30-1.30pm. it is a slightly different chat show. There are three women on the panel headed by the head hoast presenter. These days that spot is shared by Jackie Brambles and Andrea Maclean. Coleen Nolan, Carol Mcgiven and Jane McDonald are the three most regulars making up the foursome, but others include Linda Bellingham and Sherie Hewson. They have two guests per day, and sometimes get someone in to sing at the end of the show. They discuss topics from the newspapers, have a good moan about certain things, give their opinions on topics, and sometimes clash in their differing opinions making it a lively funny happy hour spent hearing about how ...
